Sorry for the delay on posts, but the past week or so has been real busy with photo jobs and traveling out of town for the holidays, so I fell behind at keeping up with posts. I’ve been spending a lot of time reading other blogs that relate to the strobist/speedlight theme and i wanted to take a few minutes a point them out. Two that I’ve been reading a bunch are “Planet Neil” and “Nikon CLS Practical Guide”, both about how to use your speedlights more effectively. There are articles that range from using the FV Lock or Flash Exposure Compensation, which I really hadn’t looked to much into, but now that i’m focusing more on lighting with my photography, the play an important role. Its one thing I’ve been spending a lot of energy on, READING! If you’re not getting better in your respected field, you’re getting worse, because everyone around you is progressing. I’m not going to take forever to elaborate on the articles, but I did want to post up the links so you could check them out, they’re very informative, especially if you’re using Nikon cameras and flashes, but the same can be applied to Canon, some of the settings differ though.
