This is a photo I took earlier this week at my favorite spot on the James River, 42nd Street. I am still in the process of editing it, theres still a few things i’m not particularly happy with, I probably need to crop it a little tighter as well. However, I did want to post it up and share, so people will have an idea of what I’ve been doing lately. I really loved how the color of the sky reflected in the surface of the water, giving it that surreal, purplish tint, I think it makes the photo really dramatic. Work around here has been a little slow, so I’ve taken the time to work on my personal work, lately its been landscapes.
I really liked this photo, one thing I’ve been doing lately is experimenting at the river: ice, long exposures, landscape. Its just another way I can get out of the house and clear my head a little bit, even though it creates more work for me in the end, because then I have to EDIT IT. Anyways, I just wanted to share this real quick, please give me some comments on this, as I’m looking for way to improve this photograph. Thanks, enjoy.
