I recently found a link that gives detailed instructions on how to build a California Sunbounce. It will take a little bit of ingenuity and a saw, but your efforts will save you around 600 bucks. I had looked into saving up and investing in one, I’ve seen the quality of photos you can create when boucing a flash into one of these babies and they look fantastic. Finding this tutorial was even greater, because it means I only have to spend 20 dollars for all the PVC pipe and hardware, the only tricky part is finding the silver reflective material, but shouldn’t be too bad.
