I recently found a link that gives detailed instructions on how to build a California Sunbounce. It will take a little bit of ingenuity and a saw, but your efforts will save you around 600 bucks. I had looked into saving up and investing in one, I’ve seen the quality of photos you can create when boucing a flash into one of these babies and they look fantastic. Finding this tutorial was even greater, because it means I only have to spend 20 dollars for all the PVC pipe and hardware, the only tricky part is finding the silver reflective material, but shouldn’t be too bad. Thought it would help, especially with us poor, up-and-coming photographers. More soon. Enjoy.
